# Rajamangala Stadium — validation and limitations

Research-informed architectural reconstruction, created 13 September 2026 in Blender 4.3.2. The supplied photographs establish the red/rust track and red/yellow seating appearance. Public maps and 2025 aerial photographs constrain the footprint, west canopy and immediate site. This is an editable visualization model, not a measured as-built or engineering model.

## Deliverables

- `Rajamangala_Stadium_FINAL.blend`: procedural editable master; metric, one Blender unit per metre.
- `Rajamangala_Stadium_FINAL.glb`: portable PBR exchange geometry, with realized seating.
- `Rajamangala_Stadium_FINAL.fbx`: exchange geometry in metres with standard axis conversion.
- `renders/`: day aerial, top, both main interiors, behind goal, field level, exterior, entrance, night, neutral silhouette and GLB reimport views.
- `REVIEW.html`: visual review gallery and reference board.
- `source/`: optional runnable generator, transformed footprint data and original public OSM XML.

## Scene complexity

| Item | Count |
|---|---:|
| Master objects | 2,445 |
| Source mesh faces, excluding realized seat instances | 281,813 |
| Procedural seat instances | 50,187 |
| Nonempty seat/color groups | 9 |
| Cameras | 10 |
| Shared source materials | 27 |
| Realized export triangles | 4,243,276 |
| GLB size | 292.9 MB |
| FBX size | 83.3 MB |

The generated seat count is not a verified operating capacity. Instancing keeps the master much lighter than the exchange files. Each seat uses a shared 0.47 m wide shell at approximately 0.54 m spacing. The model has a 32-row end profile and up to 66/68 rows on the side stands; those counts are inferred.

## Geometry and scale checks

| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Playing pitch | 105 × 68 m; checked after both imports |
| Track | Eight 1.22 m lanes; 36.50 m construction radius and 84.39 m straights |
| Lane-one measurement line | 400.00122 m; standard-layout approximation |
| Stand profile | Tall east/west stands, low north/south ends |
| Roof | One partial west canopy, 40 editable panels and separate primary/secondary framing |
| Seating | All 9 nonempty master groups preserved in GLB and FBX |
| Export roof panels | 40 preserved in both formats |
| Export cameras | 10 preserved in both formats |
| GLB import | Passed in a factory-empty Blender scene; rendered after import |
| FBX import | Passed in a factory-empty Blender scene |
| Missing export image resources | None |
| Degenerate source faces | None in audited polygon meshes |
| Open source edges | 41 roof skins intentionally open before Solidify; no other source mesh non-manifold edges detected |

The polygon audit checks authored mesh islands. Separate concrete members intentionally intersect at joints; it does not certify a globally watertight building, structural adequacy or egress compliance. Normals were recalculated on generated mesh components. Major meshes have tiled planar UVs; converted export curves/fonts receive UVs. There are no external texture dependencies.

## Visual validation and corrections

Inspected rendered aerial, top, west/east interior, behind-goal, field-level, exterior and entrance views. A neutral material render checks silhouette independently of seat colors. Cross-checked the broad mapped footprint, sweeping west canopy and concrete facade with the supplied photos and two 2025 aerial views.

Corrected apron/plaza overlap, replaced degenerate infield disk construction, added exposed roof ribs, adjusted daylight brightness, divided upper aisle risers into human-scale steps and expanded top-camera framing. Repositioned long-jump runways and sandpits onto the side apron so they do not cross the running lanes. Tuned separate night spotlights; this lighting is for visualization and has not been photometrically certified.

See SOURCES.txt for URLs and attribution. OpenStreetMap data: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. Reference photographs were viewed for modeling and are not redistributed. The image files at the supplied Desktop paths were absent during execution; the visible conversation images were used, and notes are stored in the Blender reference collection.

## Main limitations

No survey, CAD, structural drawings or complete current as-built seating plan was obtained. Bowl dimensions between anchors, stair/tunnel layout, facade bay dimensions, roof detailing, floodlight height/position, screen dimensions, press accommodation and context heights use conservative visual inference. Internal rooms/services are not exhaustively reconstructed. Context buildings and vegetation are simplified; vegetation positions are approximate.

The model reproduces the architectural configuration apparent in the supplied and checked references. It does not claim to capture every 2026 maintenance or seating change. The track is a standard dimensional model, not a surveyed copy of the venue's certified track. GLB/FBX retain base PBR colors and roughness, while procedural noise/weathering in the master is not baked into export textures.

## Editing and lighting

Collections separate site, pitch, track, lower/upper terraces, seats, concrete structure, circulation, roof, equipment, details, lights and cameras. Select one seating point object under `06_SEATING`, then edit its points or shared seat prototype. The master remains procedural; exports are realized copies.

Day is saved by default. Under `12_LIGHTING`, toggle DAY/NIGHT collections and switch the world to the matching named world. `SET_LIGHTING_MODE` in Blender provides a short helper. `README_RAJAMANGALA` and `SOURCES_RAJAMANGALA` are embedded Text datablocks. `99_GUIDES` holds hidden mapped outlines and a 1.75 m human-scale reference.
